U11 Inferno 39 – 32 Warrington Wildcats Cheetahs
An exciting game at the Ball Hall. The game was very close to start with. Both teams trading baskets. However, towards the end of the first half a few missed shots by Inferno saw the Cheetahs have an 8-point lead at halftime.
In a halftime team talk the players were asked to focus on passing and making sure the ball was passed to the player in the best position to take the shot. The players duly did this and also shot more clinically as well as winning the rebounds. They scored basket after basket without reply to storm ahead and take the lead eventually running out winners by 7 points.
What a comeback by Inferno playing some brilliant team basketball in the second half.
