U11 Firestorm 28 – 25 U11 Wildfire
This was the first league game for both teams and it was a nailbiter from start to finish – filled with emotions and great team spirit, really entertaining to watch. It was a nice flowing game with hardly any stops and some really well played fast breaks.
Throughout the game there was never more than 2 points between them and the first half ended 14-12. Firestorm went up by 4 points in the second half but then Wildfire pulled back another 2 points – Firestorm then came back again to win the game by 5 points. As new teams this experience gave the players great confidence going into the next game
