U16 White ventured through the tunnel to Toxteth Elite for what we knew was going to be a tough game as the opposition were sitting 5-0 for the season.
The game was a tale of turnovers and being out-rebounded with Phoenix having only a marginal lead throughout. 4 consecutive missed layups for Phoenix at the start of the fourth quarter, compounded by 4 successful baskets by the opposition, saw Toxteth reach an unassailable advantage that Phoenix just couldn’t recover.
