Padgate Pythons 10 – 27 U13 Flames
U13 Flames took on a Padgate Pythons and there was a noticeable difference in size between the two teams with Flames being on the shorter side of the two, but this didn’t discourage the young Flames side. Some excellent defence and good driving to the basket allowed Flames to take the lead early in the first half and as the half progressed they continued to extend this lead to a half time score of 12-6.
In the second half it was much of the same although Padgate did get an extra player in their ranks who posed a real threat to the Flames defensive display, but hard work was the phrase of the day and Flames kept putting the work in on defence whilst extending their lead at the other end to take this one 27-10.
A great team effort, and a defensive display to very proud of.
