Bridgewater Jets Hurricanes 21 – 30 U11 Wildfire
Both teams started slow and struggled to build momentum due to the stop-start nature of the game. Wildfire settled and took an early lead against a physical Bridgewater side. They held their nerve and showed skill and composure with fast breaks and good defensive work in the first. Wildfire took a small lead going into half time with a score of 14:11.
Wildfire started the second half strong, focussing on accurate passes and moving into space. There were great moments of play with Bridgewater unable to close the gap.
With some great defensive steals and rebounds, Wildfire maximised on their fast break ability and moved the ball quickly and cleanly resulting in some strong offensive play.
The final score was 30-21 in the wildfire favour- Well done Wildfire!
