Congleton Grizzlies Black 38 – 68 U14R
U14R came out of the Christmas break looking like they needed to blow off some cobwebs especially on defence in the 1st quarter as it was 17-17 at the end of the first 10 minutes.
From that point onwards the Phoenix team really worked hard on defence whilst still being an offensive threat and kept the Grizzlies to only 3 points in the 2nd quarter and taking a lead into half time.
The Grizzlies team did work hard throughout the game but the young Phoenix side just kept extending the lead to take a 68-38 victory on the road.
U14R now have a 6 week break until their next game in the league.
