U11 Firestorm 51 – 23 U11 Wildfire
The two young Cheshire Phoenix teams faced each other for the 3rd time this season.Wildfire were quick getting the first points on the board and taking the early lead.The first quarter was end to end, basket for basket until Firestorm started to edge a slight lead.Through the 2nd quarter Firestorm built a much bigger lead and by half time it was 39-14 with the final points coming right on the buzzer!
After the first timeout of the 2nd half Wildfire came back on to court fighting with much more possession of the ball, unfortunately it was too late to make much impact on the scoreline and the game finished 51-23.
Both teams showed real promise, grit and determination!
