Padgate Pacers 54 – 32 U13 Flames
The newly put together Flames team took to the court for the first time this week. The team started the game with a few nerves and failed to close down a tall and physical Padgate team, who took an early lead. Flames relaxed into the game and began to piece together some strong offensive play but it wasn’t enough to recover and they went in to half time trailing 16-32.
Flames came out strong in the second and battled hard. They began to settle and started to build some good team play at both ends of the court. For a first game together Flames worked hard but despite a valiant effort, Padgate proved too much for Flames and the final score was 32-54 in Padgate’s favour.
