Bridgewater Jets Gold 57 – 37 U13 Flames
Another tough test for Flames this week as they took on top of the league. After, a nervous start Flames settled and pieced together some strong offensive play. Moving the ball quickly and effectively they were able to put unexpected pressure on a strong Jets team. It was nice to see Jets surprised at how Flames took the game to them. Flames went in to the half 12 points down, with the score 22-34.
Flames came out fighting and continued to put together some strong offensive play. Mid-court steals and good team defensive play caused Jets to turnover the ball. The game was fast paced from the start and was a fantastic team performance, despite the final result. The final score of 57-37 didn’t really do the team justice for the performance they put in. Well done Flames for an amazing team effort
