U11 Firestorm 45 – 33 Warrington Wildcats Jaguars
Understandably there were some nerves going into this game with two of the top teams in the league, this would be the second time Firestorm met with the league leaders and last time Jaguars took the victory.
From the outset Firestorm played their hearts out – the passing was amazing, the shooting was fantastic – Jaguars stole quite a few balls but Firestorm never backed down for a second – they just kept coming back at the Jaguars. Nearly everyone got on the scoreboard, but more importantly than that – every single player put all of their effort in and the teamwork really shone through to bring Firestorm a win at 45 – 33.
The celebration at the end of the game showed how proud of themselves they were, and rightly so, and the Jaguars were really great sports and all shook hands.
