Grappenhall Steel 27 – 28 U13 Warriors
A tough start for the Phoenix saw them go down 16-2 within the first quarter of the game. A much needed time out and strong talking to by Coach Ian saw them regroup and return to the court showing much tighter teamwork. As the remainder of the first half went on the Warriors began to claw back the deficit, going into the break down 16-10 to Grapenhall.
A strong Phoenix second half saw better passing and movement throughout, and a neck and neck score board, with the Phoenix eventually running out winners by a single point, despite a Grapenhall 3 pointer on the buzzer!
