U11 Heat 35 – 13 Bridgewater Jets Tsunami
After a cagey first few minutes in which neither team scored, Heat began to get points on the board and build momentum. As we’ve seen from Heat so far this season, they played with great intensity; passing, rebounding and defending well. Tsunami were starved of possession and struggled to get a foothold in the game. By the midway point of the first half the score was 14-2 and Heat closed out the half comfortably, at 26-5.
After the break, the players came back on court with Heat limited to defending in their own half, for the fourth game in a row. This slowed Heat’s scoring rate and allowed Tsunami, who kept pushing hard to get into the game, to add points to their total.
It was clear from the sidelines that this exciting Heat team is really starting to gel with their dominant performance resulting in a well-earned 35-13 win. Go Heat!
