U11 Heat 45 – 59 Warrington Wildcats Jaguars
The Cheshire Phoenix Heat side faced off against the Warrington Wildcats Jaguars in their second matchup in consecutive weekends. The U11 Heat team was up against last season’s league winners and knew they had a tough challenge ahead of them.
The game got off to a close start, with both teams going back and forth and the score tied at 14-14 after 13 minutes of play. However, the Jaguars managed to edge in front by half time, leading 21-29.
In the second half, Heat struggled to keep up with the Jaguars scoring and with 7 minutes left in the game, their lead had increased to 30-43. Heat fought hard to get back into the game, but they couldn’t close the gap.
In the end, the game finished with a score of 45-59 in favour of the Warrington Wildcats Jaguars. Despite the loss, the Cheshire Phoenix U11 Heat team showed great determination and effort throughout the game. They will look to learn from this experience and come back stronger in their matchup next week against their old team mates, the Meteorites.
