Northwich 32 – 83 U16 Yellow
Cheshire Phoenix U16 Yellows started the season with a comprehensive 32-83 win away at Northwich. Phoenix started brightly with quick breaks and led at the half by 11 points.
The team were challenged at half time to tighten up on defensive rebounds and become more clinical in the offence.
The third quarter put the game out of Northwich’s reach. Responding excellently to the coach the boys conceded only 1 point in Q3 while putting 24 on the board, this was also their highest scoring quarter.
In the last quarter they continued in the same way, conceding 5 and scoring 22. A great start to the season with lots of learning points to work on this week.
